How it works
Selling a bike privately can mean weeks of messages and test rides. Here is how a sale to us works, with no fees.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call us on 0800 316 6807, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Photos of both sides of the bike, the clocks with the engine running and any damage help us make an accurate offer first time.
2. Get your offer, held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection anywhere in the UK
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the bike from your home, workplace or business premises. Collection within the UK is free. Bikes are collected in a van, including non-runners.
4. Same-day payment
We check the bike matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid the same day, by bank transfer (or cash if you prefer). We will never ask you to release your bike until you are completely happy and the money is in your account. No fees are deducted.
Kept the original parts?
If you fitted accessory exhausts, seats or screens and kept the originals, include them. They help the valuation.
What you will need
- The V5C registration document in your name
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and receipts you have
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
